Museum of 20th­­­­ and 21st Century Art of St Petersburg and its education team invite visitors to a new lecture course dedicated to the history of world art from ancient times to the present day!

Architecture and urban planning will be the main subject of lecture on the art of the Roman Republic period. Audience will learn about design of ancient Roman apartment blocks and wealthy country villas, and will look at different variations of architectural decoration. Finally, we shall look at the famous sculptural portraits depicting cult figures of the Roman Republic.
